About the Hub
The KKCS Study Hub provides support and services to our local community in order to make graduation from tertiary level study more achievable and as stress free as possible.
We enable students to access tertiary education and most importantly succeed in their chosen area of study.
Our goal is to ensure students feel holistically supported to gain qualifications that will benefit themselves, and their community.
What We Provide
The free-to-use KKCS Study Hub will provide campus style facilitates, coupled with academic and wellbeing support services.
By registering with KKCS Study Hub and accessing your course on-line, students can also access a range of free services.

The KKCS Study Hub located in Kurri Kurri NSW, is one of two NSW Suburban University Study Hubs Program. The program is supported through the Suburban University Study Hubs Program funded by the Australian Government, Department of Education.
The Study Hub provides student support and campus-style facilities for students who study online or an alternative local study space for those enrolled in face-to-face study.
We are not a formal education provider (that is we don’t actually deliver the course) but partner with your chosen education provider. Additionally, we provide support and services to our local community in order to make graduation from tertiary level study more achievable and stress free as much as possible. We provide dedicated study facilities and wrap-around support services which includes:
Infastructure: study spaces, break-out areas, video conferencing, computers, printing, internet access.
Administrative and academic skills support services: developing writing and research skills, managing administrative processes.
Student support services: general wellbeing support, study advice, help accessing student services, supporting students with placements and careers advice.

The Study Hub is located at 251 Lang Street, Kurri Kurri. Our campus style facilities are located within The Centre @ Kurri Kurri.
The Centre @ Kurri Kurri offers a large and diverse range of services and programs to people of all ages.
Once registered you will access The Centre via the glass sliding doors on Lang Street.

Registered students will have access to support staff including an Academic Support Officer and Wellbeing Support Officer. These staff members will work collaboratively with students to achieve their goals and aspirations.
Academic Support Officer may assist with:
Assist students to find and enrol in tertiary courses
Support students to understand their academic requirements
Unpack assessment schedules and plan accordingly
Assist students to engage in research including journal searches
Facilitate learning for students on topics such as exam preparation and referencing techniques
Connect students to industry partnerships for experience, internships and careers
Wellbeing Support Officer may assist with:
Support students with their holistic wellbeing needs while they study
Provide one-on-one support including information, advice and referrals
Link students with other services or community groups
Develop and deliver programs or activities which promote healthy lifestyles as well as programs to promote positive connections, friendships and social skills within the Study Hub

Our Study Hub, its services and facilities are available to any Cessnock LGA and surrounding areas residents who are undertaking tertiary level studies.
This may include study via University, TAFE or any Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).
Students can range from school leavers to anyone (at any age) undertaking further education.
As we are not directly affiliated with any specific university, there are no area of study requirements for you to join us at the Study Hub. We support students studying a vast range of courses across all delivery methods (face to face and online study).

The KKCS Study Hub is a FREE service for any registered student. Once registered you will have access to all services as outlined above.

Registering for the Study Hub is quick and easy!
Follow the below link to complete the Student Register Form (should only take approx. 10 minutes).
Once we have received your completed form, we will give you a call to book a tour of the facility and ensure you have everything you need to get started!

Yes, please feel free to drop into The Centre @ Kurri Kurri and ask for the Study Hub team. Staff are onsite Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm.
We will be able to show you the facilities and complete your registration on the spot.
