Over the past two years KKCS has experienced some significant changes including a change in corporate structure, election of a new board and the appointment of a new CEO. Part of those changes now also includes some exciting developments regarding the KKCS brand which was recently updated to reflect the more dynamic, modern organisation we’ve become.
The old logo hadn’t been touched since the 1980’s and was looking a little tired and, following extensive consultation with management team, staff members, volunteers, clients, and the community the business decided to adopt a new brand identity which highlights the new focus and objectives of the organisation and the people we serve.
We have a number of businesses and services that support communities across the Hunter Region. While Kurri Kurri is, and will always be our home, we decided to rename our businesses to reflect that we support people across the Hunter. Each business now has its own dedicated business name and branding which includes a new website and logo relevant to its specific target audience.
The individual colours that form the brand ID of each business unit are brought together to comprise the overall Kurri Kurri Community Service logo. It is colourful and vibrant and repositions the brand as a customer-oriented business. With a new modern look and distinctive branding, the redesign gives the company a more commercial focus to reflect this new direction.
