At Hunter Community Services we have been providing home, community access and centre based activities and supports to local people for almost 30 years. We have a dedicated team of professional support workers who provide service in the Cessnock, Maitland and Newcastle LGAs.
We pride ourselves on the personal level of service we deliver – for your tailored plans, which are designed by you for your specific needs. Enablement is central to everything we do. We ensure you, our consumer or participant, always has options and total control over your care which ensures your wellbeing is maintained and allows you to live at home and enjoy all that is important to you. We aim to enhance the wellbeing and quality of life of our consumers and participants and provide much needed support.
As a community organisation Hunter Community Services is here to help you understand these programs and assist you along the way. Under a Home Care Package, you get to choose the services you receive and who provides them. If you choose Hunter Community Services we can help you manage your Home Care Package and deliver many of the services you may want to assist you to remain living at home within a Consumer Directed Care approach.
We can assist you in the delivery of your supports to enable you to enjoy life your way and to help you do the things that you enjoy including maintaining your independence. Our focus is to provide quality supports and services which enables you to stay at home for as long as you want.
