Kawa Allied Health and Disability Services is a team of experienced multidisciplinary healthcare professionals providing holistic, specialised supports for aged, disability and the general public. Working in and around Kurri Kurri and the surrounding areas, our team partners with our clients in a range of settings including the home, community, and clinical rooms to achieve their health and wellness goals.
Our SpeechPathologists provide swallowing assessments at the clinic or in the community. We implement strategies and supports to assist participants in minimising the risk of choking and maintain hydration and nutrition. We provide individualised Meal Time Management Plans and reviews.
